Cant seem to get this them to apply, I have the pixmap and mist engines installed, unpacked it to /.themes folder and it says it has installed correctly but nothing shows in the Theme tab to apply it. Just switched to Gnome via Ubuntu 8.04. Still finding my way, any help would be appreciated...

sorry for asking that stupid question but how can I apply that beautiful theme to my gnome environment... I can not install that theme with "System -> Preferences -> Appearance" ...

yes it's pidgin.
I've remover location and main bar from nautilus, removed menu bar from terminal..
Go to Nautilus-View anf unchech things that you don't want...
Uhh... That was easy. Shame on me! ;)
But how did you make Pidgin so minimalistic? I found out, that there is a plugin available which removes the menubar, but you also removed the complete frame and "close", "minimize" an "maximize"-icons. How have you done that?

Go to System-Preferences-Appearance and try choosing Customize in right-bottom corner and theme should be listed here.

Unpack Illuminate.tar.gz to /home/*****/.themes and then apply it....
thanks a lot now it works... I would prefer a dark background for the windows but great work at all!!!

You DID make a GTK theme! Ace! Gunna try it. Do I need any specific engines? It might be worth mentioning if any particular engines are needed. /izo\
