is this theme still in development at all? anyone know?
Probably not since the last update was Jan 20, 2008. Even if a developer is only working on something in their remotely spare time they still manage to release updates annually.
Almost perfection. Thanks a lot.
Great job. But i've got a problem with the icon theme - i can't see it in the Customize theme dialog. Did you use just a separate icon theme? please give a link if so.
Great work. This just may be the last GTK theme I'll ever need. Definitely my favorite. Could you possibly make it available in other colors like red? Thanks.
Hi! Just askin that what is your filemanager on those shots? It has tabs etc.... looks like other than nautilus.
Great theme , the file manager appears to be pcmanfm.
I installed it but its not appearing on my theme manger....
In Appearance dialog on Theme tab click Customise and select on different tabs components that belong to this theme
I registered just for this post. Great theme. As for the icons in the preview photo you can find them here!!! gTangish Black: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/G-Tangish+Black?content=67857 gTangish 2.0 Blue (as in photo preview above): http://www.4shared.com/file/23146414/20ffe8a8/gTangish20a2tar.html?s=1 (it takes a second for the download link to show up) At the designers website they say they have ceased development on this set of icons. The controls seem taller than they need to be. Because of this I have opted for the slightly different "bluejoy" control theme. Anything I can do to remedy this?
Your theme is very nice, but when I use OpenOffice, firefox.. The background color is black.. I'm not english so I don't know the word to describe it.. but you can see here the effect: http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/96/schermata2cr1.png
The folder inside the tarball is named Blue-Junior0.9.4. Can you confirm that the tarball is correct and that the tarball was not accidently renamed?
It is a little bug. The tarball is correkt. It is Version 0.9-9.
Not being able to speak English is no problem. I see that you are from Germany. Many of us are from Germany as well. If you ever need help with any translations, I'm sure we all would be glad to help! Wonderful theme! Great work!
icon theme link please Good work you theme is amazing
the name is "gTangish2.0" however I cannot it any longer find. IMHO it is now "Crashbit"
This would be great if the toolbars weren't made so much bigger by it. On Firefox's default theme, the bar with the URL box, as well as the bookmarks bar, become gigantic. This happens in Nautilus as well. Other than that, good work.
Thanks for the comment. For a smaller Tollbar go to the Theme->gtk-2.0->toolbar-custom.rc and change this "ythickness= 19" to "ythickness = 5" Thats it.
How did you get the toolbar buttons to show up with a normal button background? I 'm looking for the specific function in gtkrc that does this, because i've looked and I can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance
what do you mean with normal Background? If you did not like a relief, you must in "toolbar custom.rc" uncomment the LINE "GtkToolbar::button relief = GTK_RELIEF_NORMAL" Translated with Babel Fish. Sorry for my bad English
I am new to Linux, so How can I "install" this theme? thanks!
Download the Theme and unpack this to /home/.themes That's it. I hope you understand me. ( sorry for my bad bad engl. )
This work should be named as "red-eye pioneer work" :D
Wow, looks great
@ nitroracer and tomauty Thank you. @all Merry Christmas.
