Description:

This is just a silly desktop file that I find very useful. Bugmenot.com is a website that publishes "shared" login/password pairs for websites that require (free) registration (not illegal passwords!). Instead of creating a new pointless account for a site you might never visit again, you can use one of these.

I created the following desktop file that needs to be placed on your $KDEDIR/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/
directory :
---------- bugmenot.desktop ---------
[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
ServiceTypes=text/html
Actions=bugmenot

[Desktop Action bugmenot]
Name=Bug Me Not...
Exec=bugmenot.sh %u
---------- end of file --------------

Of course, you need to have the following shell script in your path:

---------- bugmenot.sh --------------
#!/bin/bash
dcop konqueror-$PPID konqueror-mainwindow#1 newTab http://www.bugmenot.com/view.php?url=$1
----------- end of file -------------

Ugly, but it works. You can access the service by right clicking over the webpage you want a login/password pair, and then choosing the "Actions" sub-menu and then the bugmenot entry.

It has the same spirit than the bugmenot plugin for mozilla:

hi,
I installed your service menu and it works great. Altough a full blown konqueror extension that fills up and submits the form would be extremely cool...
