thanks for the application, works fine here on an AMD64.

a question, when using data from lm_sensors i dont get the degree+'C' characters, just like 37.0

could you fix this?

"CPU Info (with lm_sensors)" is a fork of CPU Info that was recently renamed to Kima. I guess this one here is not developed anymore. You could try kima instead: http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=33257

Hi,

nice to see your app evolving... Just a little bug: the tooltip function showing all the sensor values sometimes doesn't popup anymore. It seems as if it's happening after some uptime - it always worked after startup...

However, I have no active thermal sources. I know lm_sensors is working because ksensors shows the temperature and fan speeds fine. Further the applet doesn't support kicker transparancy. I've set kiccker to be transparent but when I switch to a different desktop the CPU info applet is the only one not to change background.

I'm using v0.3 under KDE 3.4.3 and have Kicker transparency enabled and it seems to work just fine, even when switching desktops...

You need lm_sensors-devel package or you can install lm_sensors from source code (http://netroedge.com/~lm78/).

Also you can use original CPU Info which has no lm_sensors support and using other sources.

Seems like file prefs.h does not exist in src.
Be sure that archive was not damaged and was extracted correctly.

p.s. Sorry for my bad english :)

nice, but how to add other sensors, not the right sensors used... I have -88°C !!!
The right sensors returns :
CPU Temp: +60.2°C (low = +0.0°C, high = +70.0°C)
but the applet uses this one:
CPU Temp: -88°C (low = +15°C, high = +45°C) sensor = diode
how to change in the source please ?

I've ever find it, but I need OTHER sources...
I need to read my "lm90-i2c-0-4c" sensors, not the "it87-isa-0290" that this applet uses...
