I agree with what others had said. It's a really nice piece. I like the originality taken with tux and the work done in the reflections. The text reflection is a minor error, but that's what constructive criticism is for. All in all, it's a great background!
I love the little guy and I really would love to see more of his kind.
To me your words are very pleasant, and I now here shall frequently spread something :) Now about the size, at me the monitor the maximum 1024x768, therefore is more than work in the size I cannot make, it will be not convenient, and to increase this picture to fail :( PS. And reflection, it so is conceived :) To me so more to like :) (Forgive for my bad English :) )
I have for one am really glad to have someone with such talent posting here, bad English or not ;) An you deserve much praise for this piece. It is really well done.
Senks :) I am very glad it to hear :)
Why did you give the penguin such a timide /scared look. Shouldn't we strive for a more positive and dynamic image of gnu/linux/foss? and I think the reflection of the word "linux" on the right is not right ;-) since the mirroring floor isn't horizontal?
Yes he is right. The X on linux should join together with the flow of the floor, you have the skew to the wrong side. I really like this one. It shows real creativity and style. The mirror of the floor gives good contrast to the character in respect to the rugged drawing and the smoothness of the background. This only creates more focus to the character. Really an excellent job here, good work. Aside from fixing the Linux text and possibly reworking the font, I would changed a thing... Really great to see quality stuff like this shine through as its seriously lacking in these forums...
Dude, lay off with the criticizing! If you think you can do better, why don't you make the "corrections" you suggested yourself! I think the penguin looks just fine and so does the reflection for that matter. Chill out!
i like it very much. how about a bigger wallpaper? (i'm dreaming of 1600*1200) :D
