Have fun!Last changelog:
---01/10/2007--- 2.2.3 : For my PC-BSD friends... --Add a configurable active tab highlight color. --PC-BSD rocks! Try it!
---17/02/2007--- 2.2.2 : After one year... --Just a repackaging of the special Debian version. --Updated the spec file for Fedora Core 6, thanks to Pramod Venugopal. --Lipstik now has a home page (http://poplix.homelinux.com/lipstik).
...I have a new version (2.3) locally but it will need some more testing before I release it; Lipstik is still not dead after all
-------------- For older changelogs, see the Changelog file in the archive.
I went to the #kde on freenode, and they said this is a style, not a theme. So I don't understand. So what is this supposed to look like exactly? I set Lipstik as my theme and it looks nothing like what is shown in the screenshot. The K-Menu looks default unlike the screenshot. Where are the icons?
So I dunno what this theme does cause what I have right now looks exactly like Plastik.
Wow this is great I thought Lipstik was dead. I have been using GNOME for the over a year but am now using KDEmod on Archlinux as it is even faster than GNOME on ubuntu. And I am now even more glad that I have switched back to KDE. One thing I have noticed is that themes on KDE have been getting better while sadly on GNOME getting worse. But on the other hand o KDE I use very few GNOME programs while on GNOME I was using a lot of KDE programs. Oh and no I'm not interested in PC-BSD - Archlinux is awesome and if you don't mind installing X & a desktop enviroment yourself and have plenty of command line knowledge based on my experiences with Arch in the past few days I would suggest that you give it a go (in a VM if youre worried)
I'm using the Lipstik theme in KDE. Tabs have a top border, and I'd like to change this color only. I am able to change this color in the KDE configuration but it changes the color of other elements as well. How can I change only the color of the top border of tabs?
Thanks,

Hi.
I ran the following commmands to build and install Lipstik 2.2.2.
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr
$ make
$ su
$ make install
Then I get this error:
test -z "/usr/lib/kde3" || mkdir -p -- "/usr/lib/kde3"
/bin/sh ../../libtool --silent --mode=install ../../1 'kstyle_lipstik_config.la' '/usr/lib/kde3/kstyle_lipstik_config.la'

Any idea what it is, and how I can work around it?
Thanks,

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1 (20021021)) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
I had KDE development package all installed.
I installed Lipstik from urpmi but when i try to browse desktop themes, i don't find lipstik.
How can i see lipstik in my available themes on my distro ?
This looks great!
I'm trying to install this theme, I made sure so i hade all installed then i used configure and make and make install, now I just wonder how do I change my kde theme to lipstik? I'm new to it all :) Thank you ^^
Maybe this is just me (which is very likely), but I get errors running configure.
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0) (library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!
I am running x86_64 version of opensuse 10.2. How do you get around this type of thing?
Does anyone know where I can find the X11 Headers? I tried configuring this, but it says it can't find the X11 Includes. I installed the 'x11-devel' package but it still doesn't see them.

Hi, I followed instructions but after successful make install lipstik didn't appear in the style selection. Can you help me? thank you
same issue here so help would be nice. all files appear to be in the right places.
figured this beastie out. check to see if the KDEDIRS export is up to spec. if it isnt, for some reason only root will see the styles and similar...
Could be me, but the site you mentioned in the changes appears to be down.

Very Bluecurve on the menus. Looks nice,
Can you add: - font used - window decoration used - icon set used
This theme it is really good, impress us more!
