Should anything go wrong, ask! If you like it, please leave a comment.

Installation: Extract the tarball to your home folder then see the readme file for detailed instructions on applying the theme.

Hmm, I use Crystal 1.0.5 as my window decoration. See http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=13969

Latest Domino is 0.4, ok.

Only a thing:
Can you consider the option which beech differs in the colors of the windows decorator?
In order that it has different appearance among firstly and background applications. Though I don't know that color to say to you.

Excuse me the inconveniences, but I use the PC with theme, and I like it. :-D

And one thing too: Look Konqueror panels corners in split view mode in first screenshot, they aren't rounded. In kate, the corners are OK.

Thank your for this style!!!!!!!!!! I like it very much!!!!!!!

Well, I recall having lightened the inactive window title text color, but if that isn't enough for you, you could go to 'kcmshell kwindecoration' and remove/change the overlay for inactive windows.

Actually, that isn't split view mode, but rather Konqueror's sidebar; as for the corners not being rounded in Konqueror but rounded in the text editors, that's because Domino's text areas have round corners, whereas its widget for Konqeror's sidebar and main panel doesn't.

Well, Polyester can't do that, but you could use Crystal (here: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/Crystal?content=13969)...

First, get this picture: http://img234.imageshack.us/my.php?image=crystaloverlayhb1.png

Open/create the kwincrystalrc file in ~/.kde/share/config and put this in it:

Quote:[General]
ActiveFrame=1
ActiveInline=0
ActiveUserdefinedPicture=
AnimateHover=false
ButtonColor2=68,68,68
ButtonColor3=34,34,34
CloseColor2=68,68,68
CloseColor3=34,34,34
FrameColor1=163,163,163
FrameColor2=163,163,163
InactiveFrame=1
InactiveInline=0
InlineColor1=163,163,163
MaxColor=255,255,255
MaxColor2=68,68,68
MaxColor3=34,34,34
MinColor=255,255,255
MinColor2=68,68,68
MinColor3=34,34,34
OverlayFileActive=$OVERLAY_PICTURE
OverlayModeInactive=0
RoundCorners=15
Titlebarheight=23

Replace $OVERLAY_PICTURE with the path to which you saved the above picture. Save the file and apply Crystal as your window decoration.

The style in those screenshots is Domino not Polyester. You do mention the Domino style setting further down, but why is polyester mentioned at all?

Report

I do use Domino for the widget styles, but the window decoration is Polyester - Domino for Kwin isn't as glossy as I wanted... ;)

can you put this merged icon set on the web?

Report

First of all, thanks for your comment!

This depends on a number of things... first, I have yet to finish the merge, fix some names and move some icons around; but I'm a little busy this week, so that'll probably have to wait a bit. Second, I'd have to ask for Everaldo's permission. Third, I'd have to find some host for the tarball...

I'll see what I can do.
