Description:

This is a theme based on Azenis, created by JJ Ying (www.jjying.cn). All credits for the artwork goes to him. I only made the port of it. I of course had to alter it a bit because of the limits in Dekorator and Kbfx.

Decompress the Azneins Theme and find the readme.pdf inside. It tells you how to install the theme

What the theme include:

Windeco for Dekorator

Kbfx theme

Font for Kbfx

Wallpaper

Kicker background

Icon backgrounds (for icons in kicker)

KDE Splash theme One with sysinfo and one without.

KDM-Theme This is my first KDM-Theme so don't judge me to hard :P
You will need to install the font (saved by zero) provided in the "Azenis Theme".
I don't know if it works with other resolutions other than 1280X1024.

Cursor-theme (Target) of JJ Ying. I have changed the color and made it smaller than the original.

Added a SuperKaramba sysinfo-theme. I used the TechMon-theme as a base.

Fixed mistakes in deKorator (Left bottom corner and left top frame). Cant believe I missed that.

Added a Amarok Super Karamba-theme (first screenshot). I used another karamba-theme as a base as I am novice on scripting.

As always, it's not done yet. When I figure out how to make a volume-slider I will finish it. It seems to use a bit of cpu as well. Suggestions are welcome.

Added my UT2004 server info-theme for SuperKaramba. It is based on skQstat: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/skQstat?content=19106
Don't know if ppl still play UT2004 but I added it anyway. Maybe someone have some use of it. The only requirement that I remember is qstat that you probably will find in your distros repository.

Put all into one download, and made better structure of the theme. I also made a howto in a pdf-format for new comers to Linux. I'm not very good at explaining things but I hope it will due. I also added a OpenOffice.org-splash. There is no room for more screenshots so you need to click on the link to see it

As ppl have asked for a color-scheme, I added a color scheme and also a QtCurve-theme because of the color for the scrollbar. Don't forget to save your QtCurve theme if you should not like this one. This will always be separated as its own download.

Added a background for Liquid Weather (I used "Black Cutouts" as a template to make mine). You need to click on the link to see a preview. I also removed the separate downloads.

If someone request it I will update the howto to cover "Liquid Weather", but You will most likely find info on that on main site for lwp. http://liquidweather.net/

Something happened to my file on the host. Had to rename some of the files. At the same time I updated the screenshot and uploaded the new Audacious skin which was not updated last time.

Updated the Audacious-skin. Added better looking buttons.

Fixed the problem with the decompress. Seems to work now.

Fixed the KBFX start button. Also fixed the date for KClock. It was one pix to low (strange, thought I had fixed it before).

The new icons in the screenshot is called Preface (found it some time ago on some site), and is not an icon-theme. I manually changed the icons I use.

Found a error in the KDE Splash theme (system). Removed "uname -m" and "uname -a". Will look better for all distros (I think).

How to use Kbfx in Kubuntu 8.10? I install from terminal and then try to follow your instructions, but I can not add the button to my panel.

Kubuntu 8.10 don't use kde3, it uses kde4, so kbfx wont work. I cant really understand that Kubuntu developer choose to not include kde3 as kde4 is not yet (imo.) finished.

I have bee using Kubuntu since Hoary, but now as I no longer have any faith in Kubuntu developers, I will switch to Debian.

Hey,

First of all, thank you for this great theme. I actualy installed linux again yust to see this theme in action and show it to friends and collegues :D.

after a few weekends i got everything working. except for the clock but im sure i will get it working with instructions provided.

The only thing i yust cant get a hold of the icons. the links provided in this topic dont work for me. Can someone please but them on a share or mail it to me ?

Remember, this is not an icon-theme. You have to manually change the icons, one by one.

hmm..i have success to install all things for this theme, except the KDM login and splash..I have install it but after apply the changes..nothing happened with the KDM LOGIN and splash...although I restart the system.. still found same problem..can u help me?

I have no clue why the splash don't work for you, but with the KDM-theme it's probably a bug in KDM. It happens when you change the background in the login-manager.

Open a console run this:
sudo kate /etc/kde3/kdm/backgroundrc

Then edit the line Wallpaper=whatever.png to:
Wallpaper=default_blue.jpg and save the file.

Then go to kcontrol and apply the theme in kdmtheme-manager.

Press Ctrl+Alt+F1 and lastly run:

sudo etc/init.d/kdm/ restart

Hopefully it will work.

I was able to install everything in this theme, except the window theme. I installed KBFH and it is working, but when i went to install this theme, nothing happened. is there something i'm doing wrong? any advise is welcomed.

u should check window decoration in compiz fusion was in KDE window manager..if it set to GTK windows manager.. they will nothing happen with the theme..

Hi, downloaded this theme and also the crystal project package of icons. i have searched endlesly for an icon tweaker program to work with kde but nothing! anyone know of a program or even better, a link! :)

Hi, i'm on debian Lenny and one thing didn't worked for me :
sudo apt-get install kdmtheme Hopefully

The Hopefully theme wasb't found

i downloaded the whole pack but there isnt the qtcurve and color theme or whatever in the pack. Awesome looking theme by the way but my colors are off!

The colour-theme is lost as my host went down (I'm still hoping it will come back on-line), I don't have it any more. There was nothing special with the colour-theme or the qtcurve-theme and it was not made to fit the Azenis theme. I'm quite sure you can fix your own colour and qtcurve-theme.

From Monday and 10 days I will be off-line, but when I come back I will fix the host-problem.

the only download is the temporary link. and when i uncompress it, there is no README file. there are only three more compress files. is this a bad link, or just missing the instructions?

Have a similar comment on another of your themes. They're missing on your host. Are you still moving the files over?

i read it, im a rookie, just started foolin around with ubuntu, the instructions arent helping me, anyone that has ubuntu 8.04 can they give me a step by step guide how they did it? cause on the .pdf that has the instructions, it says using kubunutu, and i have ubuntu

None of this themes on this site work on Ubuntu as Ubuntu uses Gnome as its window manager, and the themes here is made for KDE window manager.

You will need to either install Kubuntu or install KDE3. If you install KDE on Ubuntu, you will have both Gnome and KDE and you will have a choice to change between them in your login-manager (kdm/gdm).

I don't want to encourage you to Install KDE, but If you want to:
Open a console and write:

Quote:sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

This will install a dreadful of packages and that is perhaps not what you want. You might want to go to http://www.gnome-look.org instead and find a Gnome theme.

I don't want to be responsible for you messing up your system, so I leave the choices up to you!
