The base kbfx-buttons are from kde-look, but i can't find them any more.
The base chameleon is taken from "Suse Chameleon" (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=3962

The Gimp-Multi-Layer-Files are included for your own creation.

hey i followed you suggestion of installing kbfx to use the Start image but kbfx does nothing on my system. I can see it in the control center, i can select the images i want but when i click on Apply, Save and Reload, it does nothing... any suggestions on how to fix it?
Please right-click on your panel, select "add ---miniprogram---" (don't know, cause I only see german text) and select the kbfx-miniprogram. Then drag the kbfx-button with the middle-mouse-button to the left side of the panel. Be shure, you select the right panel-height in the panel-configurator under "layout", for example "48" or "54" (it is recomented, because kbfx resizes the panel itself without changing that value). Thank you for your interest!
yeah!!!!! i fixed it...... it looks cool! thx
They're ugly!
no they're not!
...and do the same thing with theme^^
HI... Where is the directory containing the button???? I searched it but could only find the ,emu style buttons and all... PLease tell... is it /opt/kde3/share/apps/kbfx ? I dint get any button images there... tell me please....
I once installed kbfx v0.4.8. After a while it got a pixmap-error, that i can't fix, so i switched to v0.4.9.2 rc1. That version does not work very well for me, so i searched the internet and switched back to version 0.4.9.0. Now it's working fine! :-) There's a configuration-file in your home-dir at ~/.kde/share/config/kbfxrc with the paths of the buttons within. If you edit that file, you may get a positive result... I put my buttons in a ~/.kbfx - dir and got no problems.
usually are in /usr/share/apps/kbfx/spinx..
yes..you are right.. 2 weeks ago it happened to me..no button changed..-.-..even if reinstall kbfx i don't know why..but search for actually kbfx-button dir. to replace button simply put in that dir and rename with the same name of the old button you can find in the directory this works^^

Hello RaKris, installing a new button-theme is easy. Just open your control-center an go to kbfx. On the first page of the configuration-window you see the browse-section. Here you can select the pixmaps for your buttons (you can also drag and drop them). After selection you must press the "Apply"-button and then the "Reload"-button on top of the page. If everything is ok, press the "Save"-button. Good luck! Chrischaan
