Description: This package of superkaramba was made for debian unstable with the newest kde of debian unstable.
I hope this package will help someone who use debian unstable and want to try superkaramba. :-)

I have problems getting this to work :(
When I try to install this package, I get :
samp:/home/samp/SuperKaramba# dpkg -i superkaramba_0.29-1_i386.deb
Selecting previously deselected package superkaramba.
(Reading database ... 73794 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking superkaramba (from superkaramba_0.29-1_i386.deb) ...
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of superkaramba:
superkaramba depends on kdelibs4 (>= 4:3.2.0); however:
Version of kdelibs4 on system is 4:3.1.2-2.1.
dpkg: error processing superkaramba (--install):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
superkaramba
But that is the newest version in unstable.
So I used alien -t and alien -d
And then it worked to install it.
BUT ...
When I start it and select a config file, I get an area on my desktop where I see the content of the last window that was above it.
And right mouse click on it doesn't do a damn thing :(
Any way I can fix this ?
I want to say sorry. Because I use "http://opendoorsoftware.com/cgi/http.pl?p=kdecvs" ,unofficial debina package.
But I just only have a Notebook . So anyone wants to keep maintainning this package. I am glad to see that.

now you can install it, it will work now....
it says it depends but it can work fine with the current qt and pakcages

update your debian linux...

i had to alien -t and alien -d to have it installed here..

Could it be that there should be a dependency for python? When I try to open a theme, I always get an error about complainig that some python stuff is missing...

What's the error messages when you load a superkaramba theme ?
I have already added the dependency with python. If you have installed this pacakage,you can use apt-cache show superkaramba command to show the dependency :

Hey, I'm still getting the same error as with 0.25, that I never got before then...
Setting up superkaramba (0.26-1) ...
cannot create dhelp file '/usr/share/doc/superkaramba/html/.dhelp': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing superkaramba (--install):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2
Errors were encountered while processing:
superkaramba

hi yeah the error message is to do with linking the help files.
in the rules file u have to hash out :
# dh_installdocs
like above. i think its line 79. after doing that it wont give errors about the .dhelp file.
moto if u still want what i was doing i can forward it on to you.
