Just wondering if one could modify this so that you could watch n IP's. I used to have a konfabulator widget like that when this computer was a WinXP machine. It was called SiteWatcher 3. It was very useful for monitoring the connection status of remote locations at work.
Scratch that...It does support that already! :p In that case, this thing is wonderful. Works like a charm on my system. Thanks a million!
I still can't ping anything.
I am still having problems and I just installed this new one. I had it open for 8 hours and still no dice.
try to ping the ip manually... ping -c 4 xxx.xxx.xxx.xx if this work, my program should work too. its exactaly the same. le te me know. sorry to take so much time to answer you.

I ran it with karamba and now its not wqorking. I put in localhost and http://localhost for the ip and its showing a red icon. Now I know my localhost is working because I can get online. Whats the problem?

Dude .. i was thinking of something like that this morning... i have to monitor 5 servers and is a pain in the rear end to setup nagios just for that. Really thanks for this theme for karamba.!!!!! I also will like to sugest if you could integrated to the Aero theme?? how about chek ports?? lets say about 5 ports per ip (22, 80, 21, 110, etc...). once again many many thanks
thanks... I'll think hou to show the ports... there is no need to put a limit. But right now, I'm thinkin how to show some xMail Accounts statistcs. thanks again
Um, it looks like you've done a good job, but why? I mean, it seams obvious enough when a website is broken, and if you aren't sure, you could just use "ping" ...
If you own a website, it's nice to know when it's down. Good job on this. Definately using it. :)
All right. Thanks for the explanation.
