Hello.
I wonder: would it be possible to link the theme to the overall kde colour-theme set for Kde?
Maybe this is a feature that amarok developers should implement...
But anyway, I think it would be a great improvement for many themes, especially yours (actually just because yours is soo different from my colourtheme...)
I don't really understand what you mean by "link". Do you mean colour it like the default kde theme? If so, I don't know how seeing as the close you're going to get is a blue (aqua) theme which is available without ruining the "aqua" effect which is the whole point of the theme.
It is possible to link amaroK themes (and in fact any CSS) to the system colour scheme. I don't agree that this would be a good idea in Korama because it is aiming to match a specific theme (the standard look of MacOS X). See this list of CSS2 names for native OS theme colours: http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/ui.html#system-colors
A while ago I hacked mpop's blanklayout to make an amaroK theme which uses the system colours. It may not be a very good overall amaroK theme (mpop said his blanklayout spacing wasn't that good), but it demonstrates an amaroK theme that uses the systems colours and font.

I'm afraid I don't know what you mean exactly. Perhaps if you had a screenshot I could help.
The HMTL is rather limited so it is unfortunate that I had to compromise on the bottom-left corner of all the boxes except the main one.
i see there are different problems... depend on the picture of the band, it seems. now its almost ok, last time, the 'botom' was shown twice, first a 20 px above the other one.
and now the album list (which is very long for Jean-michell Jarre) ends half-way, while it continues (get it?)...
that's the problem of the background image 'top-right'. it's shown to a certain percentage, so you can't close the gap on the bottom left.
if your artist-list gets to long, the image is repeated.
i tried it myself, but there is no solution yet i'm afraid.
wow, that's some time ago... after 2 months someone replies, i don't see that very often ;-)
anyway, i haven't used the style anymore, so it doesn't bother me that much ;-)
maybe it was/is due to a bug in the code of the theme, that's why i reported it. well, if the author is willing to invest time in it, we'll see. if not, then not...
grtz

Yes. As I posted on the site, I will create an "Aqua" version (along with other colours) when I have time and as soon as I recompile kdelibs + amarok on Qt/Mac 3.3.4

the bottom-left is b0rked here. it is square on some, and simply wrong on other boxes. i run amarok SVN, might that be the problem?

Blue aqua version posted here. http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=33020 A quick 10 minutes worth of work.
I think it looks good, but i don't really like green. How about a blue or greyish version?

Done :)
