It is really simple, I took the Mint logo (svg), added it to a new image with 86x29 pixels, added the logo, a 1px border around and wrote Linux Mint with the free font Vibrocentric from Ray Larabie.
I added the banner to my web pages http://www.frettts-freeware.com/OS.html and http://www.frettts-freeware.de/Betriebssysteme.html where I wrote a little review of Linux Mint (with some selfmade screenshots).
