Great theme, but the icons seems too big for the upper panel, and the panel looks very ugly...
I can't find the install script: area-install.sh ? After extraction I don't find this .sh file ...
... sorry ... I found it ^^
some icons are missing
It is working, thanks!
I like it, very good job
I'm sorry but in this time I have few time for fix the problem.. If anyone would help me is great!!!!!!
This icons are great! I am just waiting for the fix.
your recent fix still didn't work, there's no icons showing up, just default gnome.
Looking at it, there are only a few folders in the them, so either not everything is included, or you've incorrectly written your index.theme

Okay, I just verified, your index.theme is completely wrong, you have to correctly list and describe the directories. Once I did this, the theme worked. Although, it's still missing some icons for actions, nice though!
I don't understood the problem and the resolution (for my English..) Can repeat the question thanks!!!
I get the following error in a terminal when using this icon theme: (gedit:4654): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme directory scalable/status of theme area-linux has no size field repeated for every section in the theme.. although in the index.theme there is a size entry for each directory described: [scalable/status] Size=96 Context=Status Type=Scalable Confused? I know I am
Look at this example file of how the index.theme should be done: http://tuxmack.com/index.theme.txt Then look at the current file and notice the differences.
I installed using the install script, but also copied the area-linux folder to ~/.icons, but only some mimitype and menu icons worked.
No 16x16 icons in the GTK icon theme, and I think something's wrong with the index.theme - the icons don't show up at all, anywhere, in any size. (BTW, I'm pretty sure the GTK icon theme should work with Rhythmbox... what's up with the separate icons?)
Thanks for the advise.. On my pcs work correctly (but i work at this evry day).. I check the error ... I'm sorry
I've been waiting for someone to port this, and it loos like you've done an amazing job with it. Thank you so much! My only question is if your planing on expanding it over time to include more mimtypes and applications and such?
Also, a firefox theme for this would be great. ...and, if your up to it, a pony and a million dollars would be super sweet as well. :)
Thanks :D.. I'll work about new mimetipes... But i don't know how build a firefox themes sorry :(..
i try to port this but... i found this! :D tanks
thanks for porting mate!good job..
Certainly different! Simple, artistic, great for those who want a BIG change to their icons. That freaky wallpaper is very cool - any chance of a link to it? Cheers
