Description:
Gradual is (currently) a bash script that gradually and constantly changes your nautilus background color. It works especially well with a transparent background image.

This is far from being a finished product. I plan on implementing features like speed and color control, and to make it a compiled app with a notification applet and everything. I taught myself bash on this script, so if you look at it, please don't be too harsh

To use:

./colors.sh

It'll go on forever, so Ctrl-C to exit.

w00t... this script eats my CPU, good idea though :)

dcubed20

It shouldn't eat it too badly, although it takes up way more than it should. On mine (pentium 4 2.8) it takes up between 3 and 4 percent. Reducing CPU usage is definitely a future goal.
