Thank you, for this Awesome & indeed minimalistic conky. I am using ubuntu 12.04 with gnome shell. I started the conky n it ran good but any click on desktop & conky vanishes ! Any work around is appreciated.
And 1 more thing, How could i change the position of conky on desktop ?

To show this on the right of screen it simple: open the .conkyrc file and change "alignment tl" in "alignment tr".
And then change:
"own_window yes
own_window_type desktop
own_window_argb_visual yes
own_window_transparent yes
own_window_hints undecorate,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager,below"
for:
"own_window yes
own_window_transparent yes
own_window_type normal
own_window_hints undecorated,below,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager"

Thanks Misterair, It worked like charm now. I like this conky very very much Simple yet too good, temp., cpu., ram., swap., net too !! in a complete clean style, now what else one will need. If you/I Could change the colors of circles n fonts to suit any light colored background too then i gonna be more than glad for having this conky on my Desktop for life time.

Good idea ;-) I can create derivates for brightness/colored backgrounds. I'll change the font in next update.
