This is the conkyrc I'm using right now in my old notebook. All you have to do is copy it as .conkyrc in your /home/user/ directory.

Of course, you gotta have installed conky already.

This conkrc has been created from many different conkyrc's. Its look and colors fits many different backgrounds. You can edit the final line for your login and linux distro, or just delete it! You may add other things too... Anyway, as soon as you download the file, it'll be completely yours.
