Phrases Scottish Gaelic - English
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work): Add the source-code for this project on opencode.net
Contains a list of common English phrases and words in Gàidhlig (Scottish Gaelic). These have been taken from various websites.
It has to be noted that some of the phrases are not direct translations but have been given the English equivalent to make them easier to understand. An example of this is 'A bheil Gàidhlig agad/agaibh?' entry. On this file the English translation is Do you speak Gaelic? whereas the direct translation would be Do you have (the) Gaelic?
I would also like to point out that this file is not really designed for learning the language but to learn stock phrases and to memorize words that will be encountered on the internet.
Please note, this is a work in progress and will be updated regularly. Please be patient as I am learning the language myself and will be adding phrases once I learn them myself!
