login manager and synaptic package manager both have a strange style with this bamboo theme. everything else looks works great and i love the simplicity of the bar.

have i just messed up the install or is anyone else getting this? Also a few icons are a bit too much like a mac but overall best theme i have seen for a while.
Chris
Very nice theme, and it has alot of potential. The only problems i see so far is that, as someone above mentioned, there are some icon scaling issues, and that it may be too bright for some people. Other than that, nice work!
This is the best theme I ever seen on GNOME-Look.org. Frankly, it is light, easy on the eyes and not as dark/black as the other themes.
Great work, much appreciated.
This is my Desktop with use of the Background Image:

A Simple Translucent white Gnome Panel
and a green window bar looks much nicer than your theme i think.
But thank you for showing me this great BG-Image! :)
I think you got a good idea. I preffer darker themes. I liker your gdm theme. Just be careful with high contrast combinations that are hard to see.
Regards.
Fracking trolls. If you can't tell him that you don't like it constuctively, kindly STFU and GTFO.
Personally, I love this theme. It compliments Linux Mint perfectly, and it's really clean and looks great. The fact that the title-bar (at least with the GTK theme, not too keen on the Emerald one) blends seamlessly into the application window is perhaps the main reason I use this theme - it's incredibly attractive. The widgets, also, are spot-on and blends perfectly with the theme.
My criticism? The icons need a lot of work (there's a lot of sizing problems) and the buttons on a window-list in the panel could be improved (I, personally, don't like the outline on inactive icons - but I think that's due to the engine rather than the theme, so I can't complain. I know setting my own background fixed it for me.)
Remember, don't let the bastards run you down. Their comments have no meaning or worth as they haven't stated at all why they don't like the theme.
Really nice look, but it don't work in all windows. i applied your theme, following the instructions. but in the update page, i have got an old theme, like windows 98. and I didn't find where i have to apply "emerald".
When in doubt, make it an option. That way, you please both groups of people. Some want their panels dark, some want them light. Make sure the GTK theme respects Gnome colour schemes, and include a few different panel backgrounds, and everyone will be happy :)

you can fix this by copying the bamboo-zen folder from /home/user/.themes/ to /root/.themes/

You realize this theme is lame? its only the background that makes it look nice.
That's why it's a 0.1 version... just an idea for the moment... it will be better in a few release! And I waiting for suggestions!!!!!!!!
You realize you're a piece of shit, right?
Lol I completely agree.

Since when was troll synonymous with "someone who expresses their opinion"?

downloaded emerald ( compiz fusion skin manager ), but of course, still got the problem wit the update pannel.
For the bad look for the root application: open a terminal: sudo ln -sf ~/.themes /root/.themes sudo ln -sf ~/.icons /root/.icons
It's nice and easy on the eyes this way.
Brilliant, Absolutely Brilliant Work.I Love it!!!
Lightness and clarity, easy on the eyes. And it looks really stunning with that background. Well done! :)
I love GMD!
