Hello mate, thanks for ur beautiful work with this plugin! I have got a problem, and I think that I'm not alone! Like u can see in this screenshot ( http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/5448/screenshotgx.png ) there is a problem with long titled album. Is possible to add 2 options: a way for set fonts size; how many line will be visible in rhythmarty mode. I hope that I'm helping u with this feedback ;)

Your extension really cool, but it have a bug. It display album name uncorrectly if it contains "&".

Doesn't work for me: Ubuntu Hardy Heron with Rhythmbox 0.11.5 . It shows in plugin list rhythmarty, but I can't load it. Thank for your work!

vinoddahiya

The binary package is for newer version of ubuntu. You should try to build it from source and see if works.

Very nice improvement for Rhythmbox, Could you add support for drag & drop the albums on the cue?

minatolf

Rhythmarty 0.4 works great in Ubuntu 10.04 64 bits. Do you think you could add an option to show the artists first and then the albums? Thank you for your work on this great plugin.

Naf71

Works great on my on my Archlinux 64-bit. Naf

stribianese91

For covers that the plugin don't find, can you read rhythmbox cache covers? They are in ~/.cache/rhythmbox/covers

hey! the idea is great...and thank you for your coding time spent. unfortunately i have yet to actually use it. i first installed the 0.1-1 deb and when i selected the plugin it froze rhythmbox. i must've tried it about 5 times. sometimes even with a restart. i do have almost 25000 songs but still...i left it on for hours at one point and nothing. the second time i tried 0.2-1 (i uninstalled the old package too) and when i tried to select it...it just wouldn't check the box. no freeze...just wouldn't select. almost like it was an image of a checkbox and not an actual working checkbox. i have lucid and the latest rhythmbox (for lucid is 0.12.8) on an i386. hope this helps you in your quest to create a less buggie plugin as well as help me to rock this damn fine feature. THANKS!

vinoddahiya

Please try new version 0.3 and wait until it load all your albums. Let me know if it is still hanging.

vinoddahiya

Try version 0.4. It should work good for bigger library like yours.

NICE! .3 works great(ish). there are some weird things as you well know. but that's expected as it's a work in progress. for example clicking artists while in rhythmarty mode doesn't do anything. but besides the little stuff...it freakin works! good stuff. i'll try .4 soon. may i make a suggestion? have an option to either list the songs like it is now or to not actually see the list of songs, but when the album is clicked, the album plays from the begging right from that page. just a thought.

elmigueluno

Great job, congratulations! i was looking for a plugin like these since a while...

I use the 64-bit ubuntu 10.04 version and works great to me!

Hi, this is a fantastic feature that i always wanted in Rhythmbox. First of all, thanks a lot for sharing this nice work. I have an issue. I am not sure anybody else faced this issue. I double clicked an album art and it displayed all the songs in that album. But when i click on the top tool bar icon which is for rhythmarty, it doesnt go back to that album art mode, instead it displays the normal mode. I use ubuntu 32 bit.

vinoddahiya

just use the Album button in the search bar

nenelinux

works great on my ubuntu 10.04 32 bits thank you very much

nenelinux
