The emoticons are very tiny for instant messangers, so i'll try to create some if i've much more time. But i think its very difficult to create some good looking emoticons, because they must be simple and clean.

these would be great for user icons. I'm not too sure how to change these though...
Put them in /opt/kde3/share/apps/kdm/pics
...assuming KDE is in /opt/kde3 of course. If not, just follow it up from the kde3/ part. Like /usr/local/kde3/share/apps/kdm/pics or something
They are already my user icons!! Very cool :)
