Here is a link to my FireFox icons. I took what I found with Google (one png file) then cleaned up the xtra pixels and then made several versions from 128 pixels wide down to 16 pix.

Fire up your GIMP, load the image, choose Filters>Color>Color to Alpha from the Image menu and drop your white color from the Toolbox in the color field of the plugin window. After pressing ok, you should get rid of the white border. You can even select the white background by selecting it through 'by color selection' tool of the gimp.

I tried to make such an icon at my own yesterday, but I don't know how to get rid of the white background. How did you make that? THX, Lenz
