"there is no index.desktop". We'll wait for the finished product...
Hi all Im a newbie to linux but so far really enjoying it. Its put the excitment back into computers for me. Im using Mandrake 9.0 and have being playing around with the look and feel of kde. Its all gone well untill now. I dont seem to be able to add icons. Here's what happens download tar file to my home dir. I leave the file as is (.tar), open control center/look n feel/icons ~ click on the small folder icon ~ find tar file ~ click ok ~ click install theme ~ click apply and nothing happens. The screen flickers but no new icon option appears. Anyone have any ideas? I've tried a few different icon types now and the same happens in all of them. Thanks for you help ================================= Computer are like air conditioners Once you openWwindows they're useless
Is it possible to get you to use the SVG format for you're icons? They're very nice, and I would bet you anything that they would look nicer in SVG format.
what window decoration do you use on the screenshots? btw: great icons! ;)
i have made it :-)
you can find it at: http://www.kdelook.org/content/show.php?content=4997
I have just learned that seeing works in progress is kinda depressing because it always gets me waiting for the full release...like with these icons...
Can somebody help? I download the icons and follow the instructions, but the icons never show up :( The only way I can get them installed is to do each and every icon I want changed manually. There's got to be a better way. I'm sort of new to Linux so any help is much appreciated :)
I must make the index.desktop because I must make the other icons, sorry :-(
is greatt icons theme :) congratulations :)
thaks :-)
I like these quite a bit... by why not any sizes other than 64x64? Also, you should try to make a .desktop file (I stole one from Crystal and editied it in vi for my own icons) so you can install the icons using KontrolCenter.
I will make when I end all the icons

Keep working on your icon set ! It's really good and needs to be fully completed so we can add another great fully completed icon set to KDE.
Le tue icone sono davvero originali... davvero un buon lavoro!! In che formato le hai disegnate? Perch
grazie per il consiglio, me ne mancano un sacco ! Intanto le faccio poi penso al formato :-)

good!
you have a very good start. I hope you will create a complete set. Thank You!
thnks! Then I end that I have begun : -)
the you made really look professional and the mostly follow the KDE Iconset Guidlines.. I'm looking forward to see a complete highcolor Iconset out of it, as i think there must be some good alternative to Crystal, although i really like them. It's a pity that Ikons are not further developed...
thanks for the council, I am trying to understand if it is useful that continuous.
nice. Show us more:-)
