Complete iconset with around 600 original icons. It can be used as individual icons for X desktops, or as a complete iconset for KDE 3.0-3.1 or above (new KDE features will not be iconized at this moment).
Please, read the 'readme' text file for more info.
This iconset is under LGPL. Read the 'lesser.txt' text file about the license.
Enjoy it!
Many thanks to es.kde.org to host the icons; muchas gracias people :D

Finally available as a direct download.
-Added icons for these daily use apps: Kget, Kmail, Ark, K3b
-An important change: now it's under LGPL; previously was under GPL, and changed because the LPGL it's more permissive (requested by some KDE dev, and suggested by some Gnome users too).

This iconset was stored in a external server. At this date, that server don't allow external links to their files, so this iconset can't be downloaded! I can pay for a extensive-downloaded file like this iconset, so i will appreciate any help (a server to store my files freely -or not-). Thanks for the support.

V0.90 makes already excellent icon set even better!! The best thing is that the "pale" feeling about this icon set is gone. Now, this is by the best icons for KDE3.x!!! Creative, original, pleasant to look at and funcitonal :).
A couple of comments:
1) Is it possible to have a SVG icons for noia?
2) Why the konsole icons have become "black" ? I liked the original bluish tint for konsole icons :).
thanks,
Osho

the answers:
1.- I wish (i repeat: i wish) to make a iconset using svg. I like to use new technics. But, i guess the new versions don't will be similar to the Noia icons, because they have shadings than can be done only using biutmaps. If i use the same knid of design (lots of curves) and vector format, the new set will look very similar to the crystal icons (or a Noia-Crystal style). For this reason, i need to make a complete redesign with new look and feel (it will look similar in style as Noia or Crystal, but don't will be the same). But first i need to complete the actual set. Maybe when i finish...
2.- The shells are usually black, and lots of persons requested more diversity (not all blue) on Noia icons. I recognize: they have reason. This is one of the major reasons because i upload icons: i not allways have the right criteria making icons, and the opinion of others help me. I like to see my own icons on my desktop, and preferably i like to see better icons!

It will be better to make only a heah (as i made on Mozzilla's icon).
About the legendary phoenix, i guess it will be in warm colours, but i rely don't like this idea!
I prefer to make it in blue or green.
What do you think about?

P.S. Have you thought of making a another icon set which is at the opposite style spectrum you are using right now after you finish completing this icon set ? Or maybe having a differrent color versions of the Noia set like in red, green, yellow or grey / black / white or some sort of metallic silver, bronze, or gold color versions. That would really kick arse !! :)

Don't worry, i will create new icons in other iconsets, for applications and extra devices (these on demand).
About new sets: of course, i will create new variations. At beggining i planned 3 new variations of the icons (not only in colors, in some designs too, see my homesite for different Noia icons). Actually, i will release only 2 of thse variations. Tha B/W will be not very welcome in KDE (due to the comentaries). These variations will use the same icons for applications and devices; it will change only the filesystems, mimetypes and actions.
For applications and other devices, i will make available other downloads. Tha 'Noia Applications for Linux' download will have icons for xserver, KDE and gNome applications (not only for KDE)
