That was sort of the point, I suppose. One of the big complaints about KDE from outside the slavering KDE-zealot ranks is that default KDE is ugly. I don't think that default GNOME is lovely, but it's at least a usable system out of the box without a ghastly, gaudy theme. I'm simply pointing out that KDE could also look simple, have a fast, unobtrusive widget set, and do so without being completely hideous.

Where's that wallpaper from?
Not real great, I guess that looks just like a standard GNOME desktop with Konqueror and a Wallpaper...
