i can't get my kweather out of the kicker. you got yours off of the kicker and onto the screen. many other people have done the same thing. the only thing i have figured out how to do is get the little applet on the kicker.

I see what you are saying now, the weather applet thats on the desktop isn't kweather . It`s a superkaramba theme called Liquid Weather ++. All you need to do is download
and compile superkaramba ( here http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=7043) and then download
http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=6384
and you'll have the same thing.

if you mean the kweather applet that comes
with kde (in mandrake, maybe others too) I just right clicked on the panel and chose add applet / kweather and there it was. If you're meaning the karamba theme, i just loaded it with karamba and right clicked on the main weather window and unlocked it and drug it to the top.
