My Desktop (3 February 2005)

My desktop, as of 3 February 2005. Running KDE 3.3.1 and Xorg 6.8.0 (xcompmgr not currently running) on Gentoo.

The Superkaramba applet below the weather one is a modified version of Ubermon. There are a few changes, but most notably are the IMAPS mail checker and the temperature sensors.

Updated 3 February 2005 - New background. I also switched my widget style back to Light Style, 2nd Revision--I used it before Plastik, and I felt like going back to it again. I don't know if it'll be permanent...I'll see which one I like better.

Updated December 24 - Goodbye taskbar, hello KoolDock! New background, too.

Updated November 21 - New background, and since I've got lm_sensors working, I've added temperature to my modified Ubermon.

Updated October 17 - Removed the KNewsTicker applet, as I'm now using aKregator. Since it would be stupid to have a whole child panel just for the system tray, I got rid of that panel and stuck the tray in my left panel. IMO, it looks better that way.

Updated October 12 - Another new background, and I've finally gotten rid of GKrellM in favour of a modified Ubermon.

Updated October 1 - Changed the background again. Goodbye Kaixa, hello Delta.

Updated September 18 - New background...Kamen Rider 555 rocks.

Updated September 2 - new background, and some other minor changes (I've a different media control applet, as I've switched to JuK from XMMS, and note the Kompose icon in the tray)

Updated August 10 - why only a day after my last update? Because I didn't like the background I chose before as much as I thought I would (one of the biggest reasons was that the variations in the colour were causing problems--it was hard to find a text colour that would look good on it all around). [minor little edit on Aug 11--forgot to change the background name in the description..that was rather stupid of me]
