Description:
To use all the 293 color-schemes do you need of the KDE 3.4.x. In my tests KDE 3.3.x don't get see all color-schemes.
To install unpack this file .tar.gz and copy (as root) all files .kcsrc to directory /usr/share/apps/kdisplay/color-schemes
Observation: Replace all color-schemes when ask.
To hability or choose your color favourite, see screenshot in this page.
I use Kurumin and Kanotix Linux. Last changelog:
