What are the GTK and emerald themes you are using?
Are you using a screenlet or a conky? could you post it?
its the nowplaying screenlet with a selfmade theme. its optimized for 1024x768. if u want it, plz send a pm with your mail address so i send it to you with a readme, how to setup for other resolutions
