Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
The .mp3 file is generated diectly from the .flv file without reencoding (you needn't ffmpeg).
Besides to permit to save the quality of the audio track, the extraction is very fast and easy :-)
If the download fails,please try another mirror (fastbull doesn't work for me)

Cool, thx! Added to my openSUSE repository http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/microchip8/ packages for SUSE will pop up once the server syncs
mplayer -dumpaudio $1.flv -dumpfile $1.mp3 mplayer -dumpaudio $1.mp4 -dumpfile $1.mp3 or any other format mplayer supports....drop the line into a text file..name it flv2mp3 or mp42mp3 and make it executable. Done.
now if there was a simple app to do the same extraction from higher quality mp4 video files.
Yes, that would be great. Curently, I haven't the time to code. But, this may be one of my futur projects :-)
