Just a little question: how can I do to create a link of this application on 'K Menu'?
I've tried to give '~/Programs/Sources/QtTube/./qttube', but oviously it doesnt' seems works. It gives:
'./qttube: line 3: cd: ./src/: No such file or directory
python: can't open file './qttube.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory'

You have to be in QtTube's directory in order to execute it, will try to fix that on the next version.
You can find a code (ready for copy-paste) that moves QtTube from the desktop to /opt, creates an executable to it (that can be run from wherever you want) and adds an entry on the menu, here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QtTube/Installation/ManualInstall
It was GPLv3, but I've just noticed that PyQt4 is only GPL2 (not "2 or later"), so I have licensed it back to GPLv2 and re-uploaded.

GREAT application, love the slide down animation when downloading is starting :-)
is there any possible way a "convert after download" option will be included, like ogg,mp4,mp3(audio),mov,mpeg formats?(mencoder,ffmpeg?)

That feature (format conversion) will be added on version 0.2 or 0.3, that will be out perhaps in a few weeks.

maybe the gzip archive is corrupted?..i cannot extract in anyway
The file isn't a tar.gz. It's only a tar file without compresión. Rename it to *.tar and extract. Bye.
Oh, it should be a .tar.gz... Will have to check that, if you are right then file-roller isn't working correctly :S.
Re-uploaded, it's a .tar.gz now :).
