It is nice to see this kind of application written for KDE4!

I have some suggestions after testing it:

1.Changing working folder in recordmydesktop plugin is not working for me - changed folder is not remembered

2.Add an option in preferences to remember last used settings - I mean size of recorded frame, time before recording, muted or sound on

3.Option to set application used to preview recorded video/screenshot directly from recorditnow

4.Add to recorditnow option to record video directly from webcam - as a third plugin

5.Option to delete recorded files/screenshots and clean working folder directly from recorditnow

Is there any plans to make a plasma widget?

I have made a mockup long time ago about this kind feature what would use the recordmydesktop, but it was targetted first for webcams only. But it would have the recordmydesktop support as well.

but why not just have plasmoid for that as well?

but... i hope you can add some feature

this for example :

audio recording alone i mean i think you have used recormydekstop so you have used its feature to record audio too.

that is bad because recordmydesktop can give in some audio card some problems on synchronization.

i have made my own script on bash to solve this problem using :
recordmydesktop to capture video
arecord to capture audio.

and it works fine with nice synchronization.

i can't find it on normal repository, i have all the normal stuff ..+ some external repository ...

i don`t know... kdelibs-experimantal is a part of KDE-4.3 and is used in kmix for example
