there is not source code
i have just edited the files with a hex editor to make it possible to slide the value magic_lamp_max_waves down to zero .
the orginal minimal value is three
and it is not very mac os like but if you can slide it down to zero it is very nice and more mac os like.if you want see the changings install ghex2 on your system and open the file /usr/lib/compiz/libanimation.a
go to menu and klick find type magic_lamp_max_waves.<min>3</min>
ande see.
the original value in all the files is
magic_lamp_max_waves.<min>3</min>
i just chage this value to
magic_lamp_max_waves.<min>0</min>.
