KCheckGmail is a system tray application to notify you about how many email messages you have in your Gmail account.
KCheckGmail requires KDE 3.2 or later.

I tried with and without "@gmail.com"
Always when I see settings, password is changed to three letters.

$HOME/.kde/share/config/kcheckgmail* files and now working

Right now, the only thing I've found that does this is the GMail Manager firefox extension -- which works great, but I'm currently attempting to rid myself of my firefox dependence.

This backtrace is only really helpful if kcheckgmail is compiled with debugging enabled.
