Description: Memorizer is a tool for studying lists of data, such as for school. Lists are created with an easy-to-use editor and are memorized with on-screen flash cards or matching and multiple choice testing modes. It also includes a helpful and easy vocabulary list building feature, which automatically gets definitions from WordNet as you enter the words, without an Internet connection.
Existing lists, such as those downloaded from the Internet, can be imported into Memorizer and any list can be exported into three different plain text formats for use with other applications.
Partial Spanish, Italian, and Russian translations are included.
Installation For users of Ubuntu 8.04 through 9.10, using the PPA is recommended, as Memorizer will be updated automatically. If you don't want to use the PPA, you can use the separate packages instead. The .tar.gz is installed with a simple ./configure && make && sudo make install. Development files of gtk 2.12+, gio, and librsvg are needed.
