Filemanager-AVS is a small application, which scans for viruses with libclamav. Currently Filemanager-AVS consists of three parts:
- the program itself
- a Nautilus extension /plugin
- a Thunar extension / plugin

The plugins add a new menu entry, where you select the file or folder you want to scan.
If you curious now please check out the project homepage for more details and screenshots. I have also created Debian Squeeze packages.
Since version 0.6.2 it is now possible to scan in thread mode, which is a big advantage on multicore cpus.
