Description: QDevelop is a development environment entirely dedicated to Qt4.
QDevelop requires Qt4, gcc under Linux or MinGW under Windows, possibly gdb for programs debugging and ctags for code completion.
QDevelop is available in English, French, German, Dutch, Polish, Spanish, Chinese, Russian and Italian. If you want to translate in your language, please contact me.
QDevelop is not a Kdevelop like or reduced. It's an independent IDE dedicated to Qt and is totally independent of KDevelop. Less complete, but faster, light and especially multi-platforms. QDevelop and KDevelop have different code sources.
I am new to Qt development. I tried the KDevelop, Monkey Studio & Edyuk IDE's first and couldn't get any of them to work properly. Then I found QDevelop and it worked as expected! I'm glad the subclassing is built in and that it automatically generates the h/cpp files. Very helpful for a beginner. Thanks!
I really like QDevelop a lot. Thanks for such a good software. I will only request a feature:
Could you make it easier to include headers and libraries out of Qt? It's painful to add LIBS and INCLUDE variables to project.
Maybe a file dialog would be okay for this variables, too.
