I know that you always would like to do this, but just don't get it. It´s very difficult to imitate the look n' feel of Winxp - but I just really appreciate. In my project is 99% like WinXP (bootsplash / logon / start menu / explorer), I even stay confused which OS, but the fact is: this fellow creature is beautiful. This was really a hard-working to create this. It's not Winxp, is Linux-XP.
I don't like Windows either, but let me tell you this is a very good Windows XP's interface clone! IMO It will be useful to help people to wants to migrate from M$ to this GNU-Linux world. Projects like this are very interesting. Thanks for sharing and keep the good work!
(And yes, I know it's hard to clone the Windows XP's look and feel)
The eXperience is just a theme that imitates the icons of XP, nothing more this. Im my project, is a real XP - the icons, logon, bootsplash, explorer, dialog box are identical. Experince is dialog is not identical.
eXperience theme is very ugly!
this screenshot is just one package inside a module of my project - this is not a "eXperince theme" is beyond that. I really like the classic start menu, the ease management, you access start menu like windows 95/98/2000/XP. On the other hand, the default WinXP start menu is very confuse, uncomfortable, divided in groups, i hate this style.
why don't you make a kbfx theme to replicate the start menu? so this way, it doesn't have to be the classic style.
did you find anything like:
http://art.gnome.org/themes/gtk2/1058
for kde? (click on the screenshot for a bigger picture).
I voted for bad because:
> This is an English site. So keep it that way please!
> What's this doing in the screenshot section if there's none here to see?
About the 2 points about marking this project down.
1. I've seen plenty of things on kde-look.org that have screenshots that are in different languages. What the kde-look people meant in keeping the site English is to keep the instructions, descriptions, comments etc. Chill out and realize that Linux a WORLDWIDE application, with nationality/language almost not mattering.
2. Many people do this. Especially with email attachments. Thank goodness for kmail reminding me to put those there, or nobody would ever get my stuff. >_>
I like LinuxXP. It's the interface I grew up with, plus the power of Linux. And even though I wouldn't use something THIS highly Windowsised, good job making this! Keep up the good work.

1. The _description_ was not in english when I posted my comment.
2. That may happen. But when/if it happens , don't be surprised if you get lower ratings until you've provided the promised file(s).
3. Now I'm happy as he changed the description to english and added the screenshot! :)

but eXPerience is exactly like XP, and your one isn't. right? so although its ugly, it makes it really "99% like WinXP".

Congratulations, this is not 99% - is more than. This clone is one of the lowest rated, should be expect from a Linux forum.

I'm really sorry - something must be missing - I made this just fool. In my project, everything is at least 99% identical.
