Did you try "limit episodes" in the podcastsettings? Cause it also removes the files of episodes that aren't shown anymore.
The only reason for this script I can think of is not using limit episodes but still wanting remove old files. Which is a usage we didn't envision.
So if thats the case, cheers for scratching your own itch and I hope more people find it usefull.
Aha, I didn't know that limit episodes deletes old episodes - I thought it was just the display. In any case it's another way to do a similar thing which might appeal to some people.
My main motivation was to have a test project to work out how to write amarok scripts. It's been fun, so I guess it's been worthwhile.

Any chance of adding an option to move the old casts to a different folder as well as just deleting them as an archive? Cheers.
