Description: A long time ago, back in the early days of Amarok 2 development, there was a ruby SeeqPod.com Service Script.
Then came the great API rewrite, and for a time, the SeeqPod script was lost. But now, it is back, stronger than ever, ready to be unleashed upon the unsuspecting music lovers.
Running this script requires Amarok 2.0.0 rc1 (which was released today) or later. It will _NOT_ work on Amarok 2.0.0 Beta3. You will also need to sign up at SeeqPod.com and get a personal uid which the script will ask for when it is run for the fist time. The uid can be found by signing in and going to the account settings page.
As Amarok 2 does not yet have a button to (re)configure scripts, the only way to change the uid once set is to edit the amarokrc file.
I've got the following problem. Most of the songs don't even start - e.g. i can't get any of the oasis wonderwall, disturbed devour to play, but most of the offsprings songs do work.
I can play these songs normally on seeqpod.com using the embedded player.
I use the newest amarok2 - svn.
Many tracks that are not playable for me seems to point to non existent files. Perhaps Seeqpod is simply not good at filtering out inactive tracks when using the API?
But as i mentioned before. Those songs are playable in the embedded player in seeqpod.com (from the same links).
The thing that i just noticed:
Amarok displays following link
http://infonistacrat.hometownproject.org/audio/2112008/Oasis%20-%20Wonderwall.mp3
while seeqpod.com gives the following link on the website:
http://infonistacrat.hometownproject.org/audio/2112008/Oasis - Wonderwall.mp3
The %20 are added in amarok. Maybe that causes the problem?
Sorry looks like you're right. I can't enter any of those files by just following the link - 404 error. Looks like seeqpod.com player shows one thing (inactive link) and plays it from other source.

Aha! that might be it, and that should be relatively simple to fix! Good catch!
Nope, that does not seem to make much of a difference...
