v must not ever be "connect" or "disconnect" either in either of the two addroot or addobject functions. otherwise it gets stuck in a loop of object.disconnect.disconnect.disconnect.forever

a fixed script isn't uploaded yet, is it? My Amarok hangs at startup after installing this script, too (Amarok 2.3.2, KDE 4.5.4). Can you tell me which lines of code have to be edited, please?

it then says there are errors in the debug output. the error is something like infinite recursion or something.

What a great idea, I love it already! Together with th script console, it makes it super simple to try out things before putting it in a script!
