Okay so Amarok 2.0 is out for Mac. Now we need to tell Adium about it.
Afaict there's no amarok applescript interface, so to do this, i actually need 2 plugins ( one for amarok and one for adium ).
The two plugins then talk to each other to enable you to tell Adium on OS X about the currently playing track in Amarok.
The adium replacement variable is %_amarok Last changelog:

For all the dummies at home, put %_amorok in your away message. Would be neat to insert an away message option like "Now Playing Amorok" in the away message menu ...
