Description: A web shortcut, with a preview, on the desktop. As inspired by N900, N9, SailfishOS et al. At last a QML version for Plasma 5. Simpler than before, but might still contain bugs. Also supports urls dragged on desktop.

When clicking on it the URL used to open in the webbrowser, currently this is failing on my ArchLinux Plasma 5.10.3 with a notification showing the fruitless trial to open URL with: socked operation timed out. Maybe an issue with kio?
Hmm, the applet uses directly Qt's function to open an external URL ("Attempts to open the specified target url in an external application, based on the user's desktop preferences." according to documentation), so it'd seem the problem's somewhere in the desktop settings. I hope you find a solution!
