Description: An eleven part soundtheme created with a smooth, easy-listening feel to it. No sound is defaulted to any given event. Use them as you feel. Both FLAC and WAV packages are provided, but feel free to encode to whatever format you like.
I *love* these sounds. They sound right at home on my Gnome desktop. I've been using Gnome since the early Ximian Desktop days and these are the best sounds I've heard yet. Good job - and no shame to the Windows use; sometimes you just have to use what works best.
This is a truly incredible set! I don't even have to use them as system sounds, because just listening to them makes me feel good. :D
And don't worry about using Windows. There's no shame in doing what works. I use Linux because it works best for me; that doesn't mean it works best in every situation, or for every person. If you were able to do something in Windows that couldn't be done in Linux, there's no reason to feel bad about it.
I am using the Renoise tracker. It is a Win32 application, so I feel a bit ashamed to admit that I am using Windows for my composing. Yes, I have tried Wine/Cardega/winex etc, but it won´t work with all VST instruments. Maybe time to try again soon.
Don't be too ashamed of using win32. Frankly I think that *nix has terrible sound handling. At least for composition. Windows is the next best thing if you can't do it on a Mac.
Also, A+ sounds. Very nice. The best I've heard on here so far.
Wow man, it rocks! Sounds are clear, really clear.
What I really like with this theme is that all sounds are useable, which is not the case with most of the other ones IMHO.

Nice sounds. The majority of them can be used for GNOME System Notifications and they sound like they belong.
Some very nice system sounds. I'm using them on my Gnome desktop (yes I know it's KDE-Look here but what the hell....)
