This is a lua-scripted extension. Works well on vlc player 2.2.1
Features:-
-> Search about the media you are watching on google.
-> Find movie subtitles on subscene.com
-> check imdb rating of movies you are watching.
-> search on wikipedia about the media.
-> get lyrics of music.
-> search about wikipedia or google about music based on input name,album or artists.

step-2) paste in vlc software folder "\VideoLAN\VLC\lua\extensions\" in windows
and for Linux-> http://askubuntu.com/questions/267502/how-do-i-install-vlc-extensions
step-3) To use this extension, open VLC Player and go to View Menu in Menu Bar and select 'Info Crawler'
