If you didn't tried yet latte dock for kde plasma you must :) Because it is very similar to os sierra dock. You can notice it have some plasma hard shadows and sharp corners. Can you make it to look more like sierra dock. On this page in comment bellow, latte developer Michail Vourlakos explained to me that he can't change that shadow but someone need to make a theme for that. Can you make OS Sierra theme for plasma, or just that dock to look like os sierra dock? That shadow is really ugly..

It's work very good, for kde plasma I think it is the best. You can put all widgets there, system icons, all widget I think, so you don't need default panel. But it does not look very good and turns out you can't turn off shadow, only from icons and someone need to make an awesome theme - and these Breezemite could be more complete theme with new this dock if it looks more like from Sierra. :)

It is really nice, thank you very much! Only one thing, bottom corners are sharp not rounded like they should be. Can you please fix this? It is really important to have all corners rounded.
Also can you make widget style like yosemite, that would be wonderful and the best theme for kde beside breeze ! :)

Thank you for giving my theme a high rate, but i'm afraid i cant fix this problem. I'v already thought about it and that's what i came to:

Due it's an aurorae theme the corners are done by borders, and as you see that this theme has no borders - it's impossible to implement rounded corners. Even KDE Breeze theme without borders has sharp corners. I can add sort of roundness to the decoration corners, but thick borders are totally ruining beauty of the theme.

Man those borders are ugly as hell, you totally understand me.
It's missing a very little to be perfect.. Can you remove that blue outline around white field in dolphin? I really don't understand why they are forcing blue colour there. It should be grey or nothing.

i think that it can be done by editing color scheme in settings, if i find which color affects outline in dolphin, ill maybe will add a color theme to this theme. (I need to make a dark variant, as it is requested too, so expect it with next update)

well... You know, i've looked in color scheme file and didn't found any color that is used by dolphin. Seems like it is a dolphin feature, or idk. Sorry for that

Thanks for trying! That colour is changeable, when that windows is not selected it changes to grey. Maybe it is in some other file?

I will search but i think it's KDE's kwin, because this outline changes color to color that i set in theme only when window is inactive and becomes blue on hover. Kinda weird design, but seems that KDE developers like it

Totally weird if that can't be changed you should report them, I would but I don't know anything about that :(
I think I saw different colour of that border on some themes but do not take my word for it, I am not so sure..
Also that thing with sharp corners should be on their to-do..

Hi, thanks for the good work. Do you have the dark version to use with Breeze Dark? I speak Spanish, text translated by Google translator.

Umm, no, because i prefer more like light themes. But i will do it for you when i'll have some spare time

Sólo me pregunto qué tan bueno Google traduce Inglés a Español

Thank you very much. Are you using Inkscape or Karbon? I tried to do it but I could not. Google has some misinterpretation, but it is understood.

well, that was close.

I use inkscape, as it is familiar with Corel DRAW which i used a lot on my previous work

Hi. This theme is really beautiful ! Thanks for your work.

For now it works fine on KDE 5.9.2. But I wonder that whether you can make it support Window-Specific Overrides ? Actually I find that only default Breeze theme support Window-Specific Overrides until now. I use this function to hide title bar of Client Side Decoration applications like steam. I really like this theme, could you make Window-Specific Overrides work ?

Report

I think that breeze theme is not aurorae actually, so window specific overrides possibly work only in breeze. Or maybe i didn't het you right?

One of the cleanest themes I've seen of late. The button size proportional to titlebar height is awesome!! Borders of varying size all work wonderfully and the colors are superb! I love it and am using it right now. Thanks for the great craftsmanship :)

Will you be making any updates for plasma 5.9? For now it doesn't seem as if any of the aurorae themes here support the "Application menu in titlebar button" feature.

Report

Well, it works in plasma 5.9 actually, but i didn't find a way how to create a menu button, so i will probably look after another aurorae themes, to figure out how to implement this button (i've tryed several names for svg file, but no luck). And as it is more mac style theme i guess a global menu should be in a panel on top of the screen.

But sure, i will update it as long as i will use KDE, or until I'll get bored with it

I agree, the global menu option is ideal but I was just curious as an alternative for anyone who didn't want to use that but still wanted to claim some extra vertical real-estate.

To clarify, I was never saying the theme didn't work in 5.9. Just making a note of the button not working but that's not you. So far, none of the themes here have that functionality and the kde doc hasn't been updated since 2014, hah.

I tried a few names for it myself and none worked. Oh well. Also, did you use aurorae to create this theme or just create the SVGs from scatch and write the rc file? I can't seem to find a current aurorae theming package.

Report

this theme is based on Yosemite v0.1. I've changed colors and made a lot of adjustments to it, like changed something in buttons, paddings, and so on.

Aurorae theming package seems hard to get so i did it by editing another theme - we're opensource, right? :)
