Description:

***Beta version for AutomatiK_nvidia_beta. Please give me your feedback***

AutomatiK scans your hardware and automatically adapts the conky theme : You don't have to open the conky file and change it to you system.
It detects :
- Your language (English, French, German, Portugese, Italian, Japanese, and more to come) and translates everything when needed
-Your distribution
- Your GPU (Nvidia)
- Your number of CPUS
- The speed of each CPU
- The correct temperature of the CPU (that's an issue for most conky theme)
- All your mounted drives (and relevant information)
- All your active network interfaces
The widgets can be moved around the desktop with a 'Alt'+click

Please install :
-conky-all
- lm_sensors (or lm-sensors when possible)
-lshw

I really like the format, but how can I save the changes & have it start at login? I modified the blocks, but when I logout & back in, I must restart and all changes are lost. ;-(

Hi,
Thanks for your feedback.
There are two ways :
- Open start.sh in an editor, look for the the widget you want to move, and add x and a number
(There is a conky file and a python file for each widget)
Example : "conky -q -p1 -c topfile -x 250 -y 450" (the pixels are counted from top right)

- Open the py file your want to move in an editor, look for the words gap_x and gap y and change to numbers
Example for top01.py "gap_x 380
gap_y 50"

Hope it helps

Thanks for your tips. I generated the conky text files one time, then modified the desired blocks, changed the icons & formatted the text. I then then built a single file with the blocks and moved the folder (1 conky text file and icons folder) to the ~home/.conky folder and started it with the conky manager. Don't know if this is the correct way to do it, but it works like a charm, every time.

Hi. If you want to customize the conky theme you can do as you said. The other way might be to change the python code.
