Installation

Download and extract the .tar.xz file.
Move "Flat-Remix-GTK-Blue" folder to ".themes" in your home directory.
To set the theme, run the following command in Terminal:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme "Flat-Remix-GTK-Blue"

or select "Flat-Remix-GTK-Blue" via your desktop specific tweaks application.

No consigo instalar tu theme en Linux Mint 19, he intentado con los comandos en terminal y no ocurre nada. El gnome-tweak tampoco me ayuda a instalar tu theme.

Gnome-tweak es para gnome.
Lo acabo de probar y a mi me funciona perfectamente. Tienes que copiar el tema en la carpeta .themes de tu directorio personal y después podrás seleccionar el tema desde la aplicación de temas de Linux Mint. En dicha aplicación, en la pestaña "Temas" seleccionas el tema que quieras cambiandolo en "Controles".

No se porque hablamos en ingles jajaaja.
Uso Mint 19 y no puedo poner el borde de ventana. Y queda una inconsistencia en el sistema. Unas ventanas quedan decoradas con un borde y otras con otro.... Espero que se entienda Axel

jajajaja asi mejor. Ocurre que el tema es principalmente para GTK3 que te da más libertad, y básicamente para gnome-shell que tiene todas las aplicaciones en gtk3. Pero resulta que en gtk 2 no consigo añadir ese borde.

Es el tema X-Arc modificado por mi, porque tenia el mismo problema en Mint 19.
Sobre todo mira las carpetas "unity" y "metacity-1" ;)

Hola. Nueva versión pero sigo sin poder seleccionar el "borde de ventana" en Linux Mint 19. Por lo que leo en los comentarios somos varios con el mismo problema... Sera que lo podes solucionar?

In Linux Mint 19 you can not put the "window borders". It just does not come out.

9 +i voted - before because of the that disgusting ellipsoid buttons but after i tried/test the new i saw those ellip. buttons not appearing in me so i voted up again.(By the way as you mentioned below the darkness of the theme looks astounding,awesome you have good taste.But i think you should consider that ellipsoid buttons again,appearing only when clicked nice idea but for toggle buttons?)

Ellipsoid buttons were never my idea. It was my mistake, I wanted to upload this new version as soon as possible to see the community feedback, but I hadn't tested it on many programs so I didn't see that horrible ellipsoid buttons :(. As soon as I saw them I removed them.
The idea was to add some more rounded buttons but in css if you use percentages instead of fixed sizes it ends creating an ellipse when the element is a rectangle.

but ... will it support unity7 desktop in the future. I mostly use unity desktop and I found that the flat remix theme is not supported by the unity desktop I would really appreciate it if you would port flat remix to unity7

Stunning ! Looks sleek, professional, easy on the eyes, just all around stunning! I had just one question, how do you set the special icons for folders lke projects or repositories, as you have in the first example image? If i set them manually, then that creates a problem when i try to switch between two different folder themes (i'm indecisive, i keep switching between green and blue :P), because the ones i had set manually are stuck on the same icons, whereas the rest of the folders change

Would be my go to theme for my Budgie Desktop. However while the "Darker" version makes the window borders of Apps dark, as should be. The Budgie panel remains light with dark icons, and so breaks the theme.
