Installation

Download and extract the .tar.xz file.
Move "Flat-Remix-GTK-Blue" folder to ".themes" in your home directory.
To set the theme, run the following command in Terminal:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme "Flat-Remix-GTK-Blue"

or select "Flat-Remix-GTK-Blue" via your desktop specific tweaks application.

Hi, I'm kind of "new" with themes and I wondering if that's normal that I actually dont have the "path bar" like in the screenshots : http://prntscr.com/mvpwzv . Is that an extension or something ? I'm running on Ubuntu 18.04

Yes, that's normal. Ubuntu 18.04 uses a previous version of the Nautilus file manager due to the removal of desktop icons in later versions, that's why you can't see the new pathbar.

Muchas gracias de Brasil Dani, for such a nice (and hard) work. Darkest Solid has been my theme for months now and the white window border (4 pixels ?) makes the perfect companion to it.
Question: Is it too hard to port that window border to Cinnamon window manager ? I run Manjaro Cinnamon.

I downloaded this theme hoping it would be great, and it really has some serious issues. I am running the FlatRemix-darkest and it hides folder icons when accessing properties, and also messes with text fields in browsers (in firefox, chrome) where it doesn't displays texts in white text fields or the black ones on several occassions

Well... The issue with Flat-Remix-Darkest and folders being hidden on focus isn't something I can fix :( it just works like that with so dark colors. About Firefox, I've seen that issue but it doesn't make sense to me why Firefox tries to use gtk theming for HTML inputs, and it even does it so bad... when that same input works perfectly over gtk apps.

Chrome... Chrome doesn't bother about theming HTML content so I really doubt it affects your experience in any way.
So except from that 2 issues I can not fix, I really don't see why you think the theme works so bad, I think it just looks gorgeous! And I've worked really hard for it.

Hi! I am sorry for my earlier expression. I somehow managed to edit firefox configs to stop firefox from using GTK theming on HTML input fields. About the rest, yeah that weird "in-focus icon/folder" bug is still there, but apart from that, it's really great! Thanks for the theme :)

Hi, I'm currently having Ubuntu 18.04 with GNOME 3.28. I'm trying to achieve the looks in the first of 4 images in your showcase (the one where dock and status bar is combined, meanwhile in Ubuntu they're separate). As far as I know Arch Linux (the one you're showing on the slideshows) uses GNOME shell as well. I would love to hear some information about how to make Ubuntu look like Arch Linux. All in all, nice work.

What you are looking for is "dash to panel" extension that you can find here https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1160/dash-to-panel/
Also you may want to install gnome-tweaks to be able to tune its look as you want :P

About Arch, it has no default shell, when you boot it initially it just runs a terminal. That way you can fully customize it installing whichever desktop and apps you love :)
I'm telling you this because maybe one day you may want to give it a try, it's a bit more complicated but I ensure you it makes you feel you have full control of your PC and OS

I'm a distrohopper anyway :3 so every screenshot I upload is running a different OS

I mean is there any way to put the ubuntu-default top bar to the bottom like Arch does :D I'm a bit confused about the plethora of options to choose from the extensions as well as the default Arch's desktop environment

You can choose to run a vanilla gnome session in arch (select it on the display manager) and then customize it accordingly.
Using arch here with Gnome on Wayland!

Stunning ! Looks sleek, professional, easy on the eyes, just all around stunning! I had just one question, how do you set the special icons for folders lke projects or repositories, as you have in the first example image? If i set them manually, then that creates a problem when i try to switch between two different folder themes (i'm indecisive, i keep switching between green and blue :P), because the ones i had set manually are stuck on the same icons, whereas the rest of the folders change

Would be my go to theme for my Budgie Desktop. However while the "Darker" version makes the window borders of Apps dark, as should be. The Budgie panel remains light with dark icons, and so breaks the theme.

+i voted - before because of the that disgusting ellipsoid buttons but after i tried/test the new i saw those ellip. buttons not appearing in me so i voted up again.(By the way as you mentioned below the darkness of the theme looks astounding,awesome you have good taste.But i think you should consider that ellipsoid buttons again,appearing only when clicked nice idea but for toggle buttons?)
