Description: A layout with a bottom transparent dock and a top bar which uses Dynamic Background and automatic coloring in case you are using Latte from master
External Applets (please add them):
- Active Window Control from: https://phabricator.kde.org/source/plasma-active-window-control/ - Weather Widget from: https://store.kde.org/p/998917/
Very cool, exactly what I was trying to do with standard Plasma panel. However, I cannot set up my Super to work with the menu. It seems that it works only with standard panel. Is there a workaround?
in the upcoming version there is already an option for this is Latte Preferences
for v0.8, try Option 2 at: https://userbase.kde.org/LatteDock/FAQ#Can_I_use_my_super_key_to_open_the_app_launcher.3F
The dock and top bar are lovely and I would love to continue using this, however the top bar seems to make the text and apps themselves incredibly dark and hard to see on top of the wallpaper. The transparency is functioning, but the color changing does not.
Can't change 'System Tray Settings' after some time after boot system. There is an empty 'Entries' tab. Even if I tick 'Always show all entries' nothing happens. Also, icons of running new apps doesn't show in System tray of the top bar after some time after boot system. After reboot system or relaunch Latte all working fine. How to fix that? I don't know English well, so hope you understand what I mean :)
How do you get the top bar? (clock middle, system controls right - all transparent)?? Is this a second latte-dock? Or the normal control-bar? Doesn't work for me with both (especially the transparency)
it is a second latte panel... just import the latte layout file in Latte... It should provide you with that exact layout... If you have already tried and you still cant get transparency in Latte docks or panels make sure that compositing is activated...
9It's pretty, and it does what I want it to do :) I'm happy to have the system tray at the top again! (didn't put the time into customizing my own)
Thank you very much for sharing this :)

using this plugin the notification are not working anymore, is it a problem of it or of latte itself? Btw great layout, ty!

Hm. I swapped from slideshow to single image back to slideshow for wallpaper and this seems to have fixed it. Thanks for a great theme.
It's broken again, and sticks with the gray color. Can't get it to change to the white anymore and it's impossible to read anything on it. Tool bad.

UPD. I found out that's KDE bug, not Latte layout.
